Job Description
The Administration Officer II will be responsible for various administrative functions with a strong focus on fuel management, data verification, and revenue reporting. This includes the consolidation of ERS data, diesel planning and reconciliation, anomaly investigations, and general support tasks to enhance operational efficiency. The role demands a high level of accuracy, analytical thinking, and strong communication skills to liaise with internal teams and management effectively.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Provide daily operational statistics to the Operations team
Conduct daily revenue calculations and verify figures
Plan and request diesel orders daily
Prepare and calculate “Sheet 9” for management reporting
Download and organize fuel transactions from the Micro Alert system
Investigate anomalies in fuel consumption and odometer readings
Support management in taking corrective actions for excessive fuel use
Issue Micro Alert barcodes and register new vehicles on the system
Perform diesel stock reconciliations and ensure accuracy
Compare dips taken before and after fuel deliveries with delivery notes
Execute ad-hoc administrative duties as needed
Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Minimum Qualifications:
Matric with Accounting
Relevant qualification in Accounting or Finance
Experience and Competencies:
Minimum 3 years of administration experience
Prior experience in fuel management is essential
Strong analytical and attention-to-detail skills
Excellent communication abilities
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially advanced Excel
Dependable, proactive, and innovative
Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines
