Job Description
Job Summary
Jee Streams Investments Limited is seeking a competent and detail-oriented Accounts Officer (Part-Time) to support the company’s financial operations. The role is responsible for managing day-to-day accounting activities, ensuring accurate financial records, compliance with tax regulations, and supporting audits and financial reporting.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure proper documentation of all transactions.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable, including invoicing, collections, and supplier payments.
- Prepare budgets, monitor expenditures, and support financial planning activities.
- Process payroll and ensure timely and accurate salary payments.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations, including VAT and Withholding Tax (WHT).
- Prepare and submit tax returns and statutory reports as required.
- Support internal and external audits by providing relevant financial documentation.
- Use accounting software and systems such as Tally, QuickBooks, ERP systems, and other record management tools.
- Assist management with financial reports and analysis as required.
- Perform any other accounting-related duties as assigned.
