Prepare and maintain financial records, reports and statements in accordance with the accounting standards and policies of the organization.

  • Prepare and maintain financial records, reports and statements in accordance with the accounting standards and policies of the organization.

  • Manage the cash flow, bank reconciliations, petty cash, payroll, tax returns and audits of the organization.

  • Ensure compliance with the financial regulations, donor requirements and internal controls of the organization.

  • Provide financial advice and support to the management and staff of the organization on budgeting, forecasting, planning and reporting.

  • Liaise with external auditors, bankers, suppliers, donors and other stakeholders on financial matters.

  • Perform any other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

  • A bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related field from a recognized institution.

  • At least three years of relevant work experience in a similar role, preferably in a non-governmental organization or a donor-funded project.

  • Proficiency in computerized accounting systems, such as QuickBooks, Excel and Word.

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and analytical skills.

  • Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines and work independently or as part of a team.
