IQVIA is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Account Manager to support our expanding presence in the diagnostics and healthcare sector in Kampala, Uganda. This role is perfect for a sales-driven professional with strong technical expertise and a passion for client success in the In Vitro Diagnostics (IVD) space.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Lead and grow sales across the diagnostics market in Uganda.
Deliver expert application support to healthcare clients and partners.
Build and nurture long-term relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers.
Develop and implement strategic account plans to drive performance.
Understand client needs and offer innovative, solution-based approaches.
Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Minimum Requirements
A Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Science, Medical Laboratory Science, or a related scientific field.
At least 5 years of experience in sales and application support within the diagnostics or healthcare industry.
Demonstrated success and business insight in the IVD sector.
Essential Skills (Non-Negotiable)
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Proven ability to build trust and long-term client relationships.
Excellent sales acumen with a strategic approach to market development.
In-depth understanding of the diagnostics industry across East Africa.
