Job Description

To manage and nurture client relationships, oversee all aspects of clients' accounts, the planning, and execution of marketing campaigns, and ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the satisfaction of the client.

Duties and Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

Client management:

  • You will be intimately familiar with the specific requirements of each client and will be responsible for managing their expectations, communicating updates and progress, and addressing any concerns or issues that arise.

  • Project management: You will work with internal teams to develop project timelines, oversee the execution of projects, and ensure that deliverables are completed on time and within budget including producing project charters & tool kits.

  • Anticipating the requirement for additional project supplies and support material as well as potential DARAJA Plus personnel to meet growing project needs. Leading and managing the training of experiential staff for the successful implementation of the Client’s projects


Budget management:

  • Must be familiar with DARAJA Plus contractual requirements specific to each client including financial arrangements and billing for services provided. You will be responsible for managing client budgets, including estimating costs, tracking expenses, and ensuring that projects are delivered within budget.

  • New business development: You will be responsible for Identifying revenue opportunities within assigned accounts and developing proposals and pitches for potential clients to identify new opportunities for growth.

  • Reporting and analysis: You will be responsible for tracking and analyzing campaign performance and presenting insights and recommendations to clients. Keep the CSD and the management of DARAJA Plus Limited informed about the progress of work for clients and about ways in which these projects are being produced areas for improvement.

  • Managing team and individual performance through regular reviews, monitoring objectives, and ensuring development needs are identified and actioned

  • Continuous learning: Keeping up to date with industry developments and trends and continually learning new skills and techniques to enhance output.

Qualifications and Competencies

Academic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, finance, or a related field.

  • Master's degree in business administration (MBA) or a related field

  • 5 years of experience in sales, marketing, or business development 2 years in a management role in a marketing environment.


Professional Qualifications

  • Experience in BTL advertising and marketing is an added advantage.

  • Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM): CIM Certificate in Professional Marketing, CIM Diploma in Professional Marketing, and CIM Digital Diploma in Professional Marketing.

  • Google Ads Certification programs for digital marketing professionals, including the Google Ads Certification, (search advertising, display advertising, and video advertising).

  • Return on Investment (ROI) money spent on advertising and marketing is generating a positive ROI

  • Business Conversion Rate

  • Customer Lifetime Value (CLV) high-value customers on long-term engagement

  • Engagement Metrics in relation to the target audience.

  • Customer Satisfaction Index
