About the Employer:
Insight Management Uganda Limited is a human resource consultancy firm specializing in labour outsourcing and recruitment services. We are currently hiring Direct Sales Representatives (DSRs) on behalf of our client, a leading institution in the banking sector.
Position Summary
The Direct Sales Representative (DSR) will be responsible for promoting and selling the bank’s products and services directly to potential customers. This is a field-based role focused on customer acquisition, relationship management, and achieving individual and team sales targets through outreach, referrals, and field marketing activities.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Identify, engage, and recruit potential customers for the bank’s products, including account openings and related services.
Meet and exceed individual and team monthly sales targets.
Conduct door-to-door and field marketing activities within assigned areas.
Educate customers on product features, benefits, and terms, ensuring full understanding before enrollment.
Collect, verify, and submit all required customer documentation in compliance with KYC and bank policies.
Maintain accurate records of daily sales activities and customer interactions.
Build and maintain lasting client relationships to encourage repeat business and referrals.
Gather and report feedback on market trends, customer preferences, and competitor activities.
Participate in training sessions, promotional campaigns, and sales meetings organized by the bank.
Uphold the bank’s brand image, values, and compliance standards in all engagements.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Achievement of monthly and quarterly sales targets.
Accuracy and quality of submitted customer applications.
Customer satisfaction and retention levels.
Compliance with company and bank procedures.
Timely reporting and documentation submission.
Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Education:
Certificate or Diploma in Business, Marketing, Banking, or a related field.
Experience:
No prior experience required; recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
Skills:
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Strong persuasion and negotiation skills.
Target-driven, self-motivated, and proactive.
Good organizational and reporting skills.
Basic computer proficiency (MS Word, Excel, and email).
Working Conditions
Field-based role involving regular travel within assigned territories.
Direct customer engagement in markets, offices, and public spaces.
May occasionally require extended working hours to meet sales targets.
Remuneration
Monthly retainer/allowance.
Sales commissions and performance-based bonuses.
