Job Purpose
The Technical Sector Officer (TSO) – Education will assist the AIM Regional Manager in planning, implementing, and ensuring high-quality delivery of the AIM education pathway. This role involves facilitating training, reviewing and adapting curricula, supporting teachers' professional development, and aiding school leadership in school improvement planning. The TSO will also contribute to staff capacity building through targeted training and supervision.

How to Apply
Support AIM team during inception activities, including community mobilization and meetings with families and youth groups.
Collaborate with the AIM Education Specialist to prepare and manage Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) with schools and relevant government ministries at regional and district levels.
Engage with education officials to secure support and access to schools and records, aligning with AIM education pathway goals.
Review, adapt, and develop teaching guides and content in coordination with AIM education specialists and BRAC International technical teams.
Facilitate training sessions on gender-responsive pedagogy, mentorship, tutoring, and school improvement planning for teachers, school leaders, and parent-teacher associations.
Work closely with school administrations and community stakeholders to introduce and sustain AIM education pathway activities.
Monitor and support monthly follow-ups on program interventions to ensure quality outcomes.
Coordinate with alternative education providers to enroll eligible AIM participants.
Contribute to monitoring frameworks, program reporting, and documentation of best practices and success stories.
Ensure timely and accurate data entry and reporting in both manual and digital management information systems.
Promote and implement safeguarding policies to ensure a safe working environment for all team members.
Safeguarding
Uphold and promote safeguarding standards, providing guidance and support on safeguarding issues.
Follow safeguarding reporting procedures for any incidents and encourage others to do the same.
Bachelor’s degree in Education, International Development, Gender Studies, Sociology, Anthropology, Social Sciences, or related fields. A postgraduate diploma is an advantage.
Experience
3-5 years in education training, curriculum development, gender equality, social inclusion, community and school engagement.
Experience in teacher training module development and facilitation is essential.
Background in programs targeting adolescent girls and young women is a plus.
Experience in developing SBCC messages, community mobilization, advocacy, and engagement activities is an added advantage.
Skills & Competencies
Strong skills in training material development, capacity building, and facilitation.
Proficiency in computer use and presentations.
Excellent report writing and documentation skills.
Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently while supporting large teams.
Commitment to community mobilization and rights-based, human-centered approaches, especially around education, GESI, and SRHR.
Demonstrates empathy, cultural competence, and positive interpersonal skills.
