Research Assistants (33 Positions)

Duration: 1–2 weeks (dependent on performance and successful completion of a 2-day training)


The Children’s Rights and Violence Prevention Fund (CRVPF) is seeking 33 qualified and experienced Research Assistants (RAs) to support field data collection for the Empowering Youth through Data and Community Development Program (EYDCD).

Data collection will be conducted in person across the following districts and refugee settlements:
Buikwe, Butambala, Kampala, Kayunga, Kiboga, Kabarole, Luwero, Lyantonde, Lira, Masaka, Mpigi, Mubende, Mukono, Wakiso, Orukyinga (Isingiro), Kyangwali (Kikuube), Palabek (Lamwo), Rhino (Terego), Kyaka II (Kyegegwa), Omugo (Terego), Lobule (Koboko), Pagirinya (Adjumani), and Parolinya (Obongi).

The study aims to assess program progress and identify areas for improvement.

  • Must have completed Senior Six (S.6) or higher.

  • Prior experience conducting electronic data collection.

  • Demonstrated ability to carry out face-to-face interviews.

  • Proficiency in English and the local language spoken in the assigned community.

  • Experience using data collection tools such as ODK, KoboToolbox, or CommCare.

  • Previous work with marginalized populations (e.g., Persons with Disabilities and Refugees) is an added advantage.

  • Must possess an Android smartphone.
