Purpose of the Role
The Account Developer – LPG is responsible for developing, managing, and growing a portfolio of customers in the LPG (Liquefied Petroleum Gas) segment. The goal is to drive volume, increase profitability, and build long-term relationships by offering excellent customer support and delivering on business objectives.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Manage and grow LPG sales within assigned customer segments (Platinum, Gold, and Silver accounts).
Develop and implement customer-specific strategies to drive volume and margin growth.
Ensure consistent and safe delivery of services in line with health, safety, and environmental (HSE) policies.
Maintain and update commercial value propositions in accordance with company guidelines.
Meet or exceed sales performance metrics, including volume, C3, and C5 profitability targets.
Acquire new clients while retaining and developing existing customer relationships.
Build strong client relationships through regular face-to-face interactions and follow-ups.
Use CRM tools effectively to manage customer data, interactions, and feedback.
Contribute to the design and execution of marketing plans that align with business growth objectives.
Monitor sales performance and regularly review sales strategies to address gaps.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records using tools like SalesFirst and other platforms.
Ensure proactive sales management practices are followed, including monitoring, evaluation, and reporting.

Ensuring adherence to safety standards while meeting sales objectives.
Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
Proven experience in sales, with a track record of meeting targets and managing key accounts.
Strong background in negotiation, communication, and relationship management.
Familiarity with LPG, fuels, bitumen, or lubricants markets is an added advantage.
Experience with CRM tools and sales performance monitoring.
Professional and motivated, with excellent presentation and interpersonal skills.
