How to Apply
Help producers/ farmers to use their land more effectively and suggest methods to increase yield.
Create strategies in strengthening crop production and crop management
Study, assess and evaluate soil chemistry by testing soil of various fields
Initiate latest techniques of soil management processes
Counsel and educate producer department staff and site coordinators on latest farming techniques
Train, develop and motivate agricultural staff both in producer department and commercial farm
Organize own work plan to spend time effectively and efficiently to meet the company’s business objective
Assist the extension service manager to prepare and implement annual budget for the agricultural programme
Monitor the performance of works in the collection, transport to storage and storage of the harvested crop.
Develop and implement technology to combat pests, plant diseases and weeds.
Appraise the performance of extension coordinators
Perform any other duties assigned Extension service manager.
Bachelor’s Degree in Agriculture or a related discipline
3 years’ experience in related field
Skills & Professional Attributes Required
Agricultural background
Cross-cultural skills
Strong oral and written communication skills,
Entrepreneurial and analytical skills
