Seamstress/Tailor (2 Positions) – Bridal Shop

Job Summary:
Donswift Company is seeking two experienced Seamstresses/Tailors to join our bridal shop team in Kampala. The ideal candidates will have a strong background in tailoring, with a focus on bridal or formal wear.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Take precise body measurements and conduct client fittings.
Alter and tailor bridal gowns and dresses to meet client specifications while preserving the quality of the garment.
Work with delicate fabrics such as lace, silk, satin, and tulle with a high level of care and skill.
Coordinate with the sales team to ensure timely completion and delivery of garments.
Maintain sewing equipment and a clean, organized workspace.
Manage multiple projects and meet deadlines, especially during peak bridal seasons.

Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Proven experience as a seamstress or tailor, preferably in bridal or high-end formal wear.

Ability to work efficiently under pressure.
Creative and resourceful, especially in handling complex alterations.
