How to Apply
Identifying mixtures of different varieties on beds.
Mark spots identifying with insect pest.
Ensure that all the identified pest spots are well marked with a well labelled nameplate.
Random checking of the beds under plastic for dropouts.
Identification of strange plants in greenhouses.
Cross checking the marked spots when harvesting team is doing harvest.
Ensure that all the pest monitoring trap cards in the Green houses are counted properly.

Possession of a Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education (UACE) or its equivalent, with at least a Grade C in Agriculture.
Practical experience in scouting or pest identification, obtained through work or training, will be an added advantage.
Ability to demonstrate attentiveness, cooperation, flexibility, accuracy, and adherence to instructions.
Strong written and oral communication skills in the English language.
