Job Description
Job Opportunity: Project Intern (2 Positions)
Organization: Right To Play
Location: Kampala, Uganda
Type: Full-time (40 hours/week) |
Contract Duration: 5 months
Stipend: UGX 3,600,000 (total, before taxes) per intern
Start Date: As soon as possible

Project Overview: Multi–Tusobola Project
This initiative aims to improve equitable access to quality education and health outcomes for children and youth in Kampala's low-income settlements. Key goals include:
Promoting play-based learning (PBL) across classrooms and sports sessions.
Advancing WASH, Menstrual Hygiene Management (MHM), and environmental practices.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Activity Planning & Implementation – 60%
Support Project Coordinators in planning and delivering program activities.
Guide and support community coaches, peer educators, and teachers.
Organize events such as play days and sports tournaments.
Assist in training delivery and report on outcomes.
Monitoring & Reporting – 20%
Assist in managing and distributing program materials.
Participate in training stakeholders on data collection tools.
Document and report on monthly activity progress.
Administrative Support – 15%
Assist in basic admin tasks, including drafting concept notes and purchase requisitions.
Other Duties – 5%
Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Project Coordinators.
Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Current student or recent graduate in Social Sciences, Education, or a related field.
Must be legally eligible to work in Uganda (no visa sponsorship available).
