Social Media Marketing Intern Job at BLACK

Job Description
We are looking for a creative, driven, and digitally savvy Social Media Marketing Intern to join our growing team and help us amplify the BLACKLYF brand online.
Job Summary: The Social Media Intern will support the marketing team in creating, publishing, and analyzing social media content across all platforms. This isn’t a “schedule posts and pray” gig. You will concept, shoot, edit, buy media, and analyse what actually breaks the algorithm.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Content Creation & Management
- Ideate, script, film, and edit 15–30 second TikTok/Reels that stop the scroll.
- Leverage trending audio, effects, and challenges while injecting BLACKLYF DNA.
- A/B test hooks, CTAs, and posting times; double down on winners.
- Support influencer collaborations and community engagement initiatives.
- Help curate and manage user-generated content (UGC).
Paid Media & Performance
- Support in setting up, monitoring, and optimising META Ads
- Assist in audience targeting, A/B testing, and performance tracking for paid campaigns.
- Pull weekly performance reports (impressions, CPC & saves, link clicks, CAC).
Community & Brand Engagement
- Monitor comments, DMs, and brand mentions; respond within 1 hr.
- Flag user-generated content for reposts and collaboration opportunities.
- Participate in community engagement activities, giveaways, and live events.
Research & Trends
- Stay updated on social media trends, viral content formats, hashtags, and cultural moments.
- Monitor competitor activity and share insights with the marketing team.
