How to Apply
Key Responsibilities
Create detailed sketches of apparel and accessories, including specifications such as color schemes, construction details, materials, and accessory requirements.
Determine pricing for designs and collaborate with sales and management teams, as well as clients, to discuss and refine design ideas.
Select appropriate materials and production techniques for products, providing sample garments to agents and sales representatives.
Supervise and coordinate the work of employees involved in pattern making, cutting, and constructing sample or finished garments.
Work with other designers to coordinate the development of special products and designs.

Education: Post-secondary Diploma in Tailoring or a related field.
Experience: 1-2 years of relevant experience in tailoring or fashion design.
Skills: Active listening, time management, personnel management, and resource monitoring.
Technology: Proficient in graphic/photo imaging software, particularly Wilcom, Adobe Illustrator, and HQ software.
Language Proficiency: Fluent in English and Luganda.
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of production and processing techniques.
Strong communication, negotiation, and learning skills.
