Job Description
The Scaling Lead CWtL will focus on two primary objectives:
Drive the process of securing formal recognition of CWtL within Uganda’s education system.
Lead advocacy and engagement with the Ministry of Education and Sports (MoES), Ministry of ICT, and local education authorities.
Oversee strategic expansion of CWtL in Isingiro district.
Integrate CWtL training within Uganda’s broader teacher development initiatives.
Serve as the primary liaison for District Local Government (DLG) requests.
Oversee the Beekee system pilot adaptation for CWtL in Uganda.
Lead human-centered design processes to enhance the data management portal.
Facilitate the transition from manual to automated quality assurance processes.

How to Apply
Develop and execute a government engagement strategy to secure buy-in from MoES and district authorities.
Represent CWtL in policy discussions and advocacy meetings.
Build strategic alliances with key education stakeholders, including donors, NGOs, and teacher training institutions.
Oversee expansion efforts in Isingiro, ensuring smooth implementation in new schools.
Align CWtL professional development modules with national teacher training frameworks.
Manage quality assurance systems for CWtL and facilitate improvements in data tracking and reporting.
Coordinate stakeholder engagements and leadership efforts to promote CWtL at both local and national levels.
Facilitate knowledge sharing and best practices from other CWtL country implementations (e.g., Lebanon, Ukraine).

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education, Public Policy, International Development, or a related field.
Minimum 5-7 years of experience in education programming, government engagement, or large-scale program implementation.
Demonstrated experience working with the Ugandan Ministry of Education and Sports (MoES), District Local Governments, or teacher training institutions.
Strong understanding of education policy and teacher professional development.
Proven ability to scale education programs, particularly digital learning initiatives.
Excellent leadership, advocacy, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
Familiarity with human-centered design and participatory stakeholder engagement.
Fluent in English; knowledge of local languages (e.g., Runyankore, Luganda) is an advantage.
Ability to travel frequently within Uganda.
