Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and manage the global fixed connectivity roadmap and product plans.
Drive the Connectivity, IP Services, and Networks as a Service product portfolio within the Bayobab Product Development Framework.
Create and manage the fixed connectivity product catalog, including pricing and specifications.
Collaborate with OpCos and FibreCo to align carrier service needs with product development.
Build and manage business cases for product implementation, estimating CAPEX and OPEX impact.
Ensure end-to-end ownership of product implementation, coordinating multiple teams.
Oversee product profitability, commercial performance, and cost management.
Define and implement operational procedures for fault handling, fraud prevention, and service assurance.
Conduct competitor analysis and benchmarking to enhance product competitiveness.
Manage CRM product and pricing catalogs, ensuring accuracy and relevance.
Track and analyze commercial performance, recommending improvements and upgrades.
Role Deliverables:
Fixed Connectivity product roadmap and strategy.
Comprehensive product catalog for fixed connectivity services.
Effective cost recovery mechanisms.
Growth in business lines through strategic product development.
Role Dependencies:
Collaboration with Bayobab sales, technical, and product teams.
Engagement with GEBU product teams and OpCo carrier services teams.
Coordination with Bayobab FibreCos for infrastructure alignment.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Develop and execute the product strategy for fixed connectivity solutions.
Manage product lifecycles from ideation to launch and continuous improvement.
Ensure alignment of fixed connectivity offerings with market needs and emerging trends.
Oversee financial performance and profitability of fixed connectivity products.
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders for seamless product execution.
Monitor product performance and drive optimizations to improve efficiency and cost savings.

Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Education:
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or Computer Science.
A postgraduate qualification (MBA, Master's in Economics, Engineering, or Computer Science) is an advantage.
Fluency in English is required.
Experience:
Minimum 5+ years of relevant commercial and technical experience in fixed-line telecommunications.
At least 3 years of experience in product management.
Experience in international enterprise/carrier product business is preferred.
Exposure to diverse cultures and geographies.
Competencies:
Strong understanding of product development methodologies and lifecycle management.
Expertise in Carrier Ethernet, IP Services, Optical Networking, IP/MPLS, and Cloud Networking.
Commercial and technical acumen to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Strong analytical skills for business case development and financial forecasting.
Ability to adapt to dynamic business needs and work in a multicultural environment.
