Expression of Interest to Conduct Gender Formative Study
CARE International is a humanitarian non-governmental | The Consultant firm is expected to have: organization committed to working with poor women, men, boys, girls, communities, and institutions to have a significant impact on the underlying causes of poverty. CARE seeks to contribute to economic and social transformation, unleashing the power of the most vulnerable women and girls.
Scaling Farmer Field and Business Schools in Coffee Communities is a 2-year project that seeks to benefit 4,000 women farmers and their households directly and at least 563 members of existing community structures including women leadership groups, RMM, VHTS, women-led and rights grassroots organizations. The gender formative study seeks to explore gender dynamics related to Agricultural Productivity, sustainable Livelihoods and inclusive Markets.

Subject of Procurement Expression of Interest to Conduct Gender Formative Study
Interested individuals/firms should provide information demonstrating that they are eligible and possess the required qualifications to perform the services, supported with relevant documentation. The shortlisting criteria will include: Copy of Certificate of Incorporation (for only firms), Copy of Trading license (for only firms), Evidence of registration (for firms), Consultant competencies, qualification, and experience of key personnel, Evidence of availability of appropriate qualifications, personnel and key staff that will constitute the team, copy of previous study conducted, certificate of completion of similar assignments in the past.
Applicant's lead must have a minimum of a master's degree in Gender Studies, Development Studies, Human Rights, Humanitarian Studies, Project Planning and Management or any other related field. Possession of A PhD will be an added advantage. Demonstrated experience (at least 5 years) in conducting assessments in the development and humanitarian setting.
Solid understanding of agricultural productivity, sustainable livelihoods and inclusive markets. Excellent analytical and report writing skills.
