Job Description
Responsible for managing the counter, receiving payments from customers, and ensuring excellent customer care at all times.
Duties and Responsibilities
Handle cash, mobile money, and card payments accurately
Issue receipts and balance the cash drawer daily
Provide courteous customer service and resolve basic inquiries
Maintain accurate sales records and report discrepancies
Support stock monitoring at the counter
Keep the counter area clean and organized
Adhere to financial policies, security, and hygiene standards

Qualifications and Competencies
Requirements & Skills
Strong customer care skills with the ability to greet and serve customers politely.
Must be hardworking, reliable, and trustworthy with a positive attitude.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Basic numeracy and accuracy in handling money and transactions.
Ability to work under pressure in a busy bar environment.
Team player with a willingness to support colleagues when needed.
Neat and presentable appearance suitable for customer-facing roles.
Minimum Qualification Requirements
Uganda Certificate of Education (UCE) – S.4 or its equivalent.
Prior experience in cash handling, retail, or customer service is an added advantage but not mandatory.
Minimum Experience = 1 year
