The Uganda Police Force (UPF) has officially announced the recruitment of 100,000 Election Special Police Constables 2025. This nationwide recruitment drive aims to strengthen election security ahead of the upcoming general elections. The Election Special Police Constable recruitment 2025 offers Ugandan citizens an opportunity to serve their country while earning a monthly remuneration of UGX 469,000 for a three-month contract.
The Uganda Police Force recruitment of 100,000 Election Special Police Constables is open to all qualified Ugandan citizens with good conduct and physical fitness. Successful applicants will be deployed to serve in their respective districts of residence to maintain peace, security, and order during the election period.
To qualify for the Election Special Police Constable recruitment 2025, applicants must meet the following criteria:
Must be a Ugandan citizen with a valid National Identity Card.
Proven record of volunteerism with the Uganda Police Force (UPF) is an added advantage.
Must be 18 years or older.
Should be nationalistic and patriotic.
Must possess a Primary Leaving Examinations (PLE) result slip or higher qualification.
Must be physically fit and ready to serve under demanding conditions.
Excellent communication skills are required.
Must be willing to undergo a Basic Security Training Course lasting one month.
Should be a registered voter in their area of recruitment.
Must not be a serving officer in any other force.
Women are strongly encouraged to apply.
Interested candidates for the Election Special Police Constable recruitment 2025 should submit handwritten applications addressed to the Inspector General of Police (IGP). Applications must be accompanied by:
Photocopies of academic documents
Copy of National Identity Card
One (1) recent passport-size photograph
Recommendation letters from LCI, LCIII, and GISO from your district of recruitment
All applications should be delivered to the Police District/Divisional Headquarters in your area no later than 1st November 2025.
Only shortlisted candidates will be invited for interviews, with dates communicated later.
Important Notes for Applicants

Impersonation or use of forged documents will lead to arrest and prosecution.
Only those with genuine credentials will be considered.
All successful recruits will be required to complete a one-month Basic Security Training before deployment.
