The Uganda Revenue Authority (URA) has officially relocated to RR Pearl Tower, marking a major milestone in its ongoing efforts to improve service delivery and operational efficiency. The move shifts several of URA’s core departments from its long-time headquarters in Nakawa to the new RR Pearl Tower located along Yusuf Lule Road in Kampala.

In its public notice, the Uganda Revenue Authority (URA) stated that the relocation to RR Pearl Tower is part of a strategic plan to bring services closer to taxpayers while creating a more modern and efficient work environment. The new RR Pearl Tower offers upgraded infrastructure, improved accessibility, and a conducive setting for both staff and taxpayers.
Several major URA departments have now been relocated to the RR Pearl Tower:
Large Taxpayers Office – 13th and 14th Floors
Public Sector and Medium Taxpayers Division – 11th and 12th Floors
Risk and Strategy Department – 15th Floor
Petroleum Division – 13th Floor
This relocation aims to streamline operations and make it easier for taxpayers to access essential URA services under one modern roof at the RR Pearl Tower.
The RR Pearl Tower, developed by the Ruparelia Group, stands as one of Uganda’s most advanced and iconic business complexes. Recently renamed RR Tower One by business magnate Dr. Sudhir Ruparelia, the building honors his late son, Rajiv Ruparelia, who tragically passed away in May 2025.
RR Tower One is the first phase of the Ruparelia Group’s ambitious business park project. It features 16 floors of Grade A office space and three levels of secure parking, making it a premier location for both government and private sector offices.
With the Uganda Revenue Authority (URA) now among its flagship tenants, the RR Pearl Tower solidifies its place as a landmark in Kampala’s growing business district. The relocation underscores URA’s commitment to modernization, taxpayer convenience, and operational excellence.
