The selected Energy Service Provider Companies (ESPCs) and Energy Service Companies (ESCOs) shall be responsible for the promotion, distribution, and sale of energy-efficient appliances and solutions to households, businesses, and social institutions across the targeted districts in Uganda. The scope includes market development activities such as awareness creation, customer engagement, and last-mile distribution, as well as provision of high-quality energy-efficient technologies including clean cooking, lighting, pumping, cooling, heating, and milling solutions. The companies shall also ensure reliable after-sales services, including installation, maintenance, and customer support. Additionally, beneficiaries will be required to track and report on sales, usage, and impact in line with results-based financing requirements, demonstrating measurable outcomes such as energy savings, increased access, and improved livelihoods.
