Job Description
Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, the Warehouse Supervisor will manage personnel, equipment, and space allocation for daily operations, while ensuring strict compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), QHSE regulations, and client-specific requirements. The role covers operational oversight of inbound/outbound shipments, inventory control, documentation, and reporting. The Warehouse Supervisor will also lead toolbox meetings, perform safety checks, oversee stock accuracy, prepare reports, and ensure the achievement of operational KPIs.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Allocate equipment, space, and personnel for daily operations.
Conduct toolbox meetings with the warehouse team on operations and safety.
Perform spot checks to enforce SOP compliance.
Coordinate inbound/outbound shipments in SAP/GMES and physically.
Ensure stacking standards and storage procedures are followed.
Perform mid/end-month stock takes with BAT Finance team.
Conduct daily cycle counts and report results for approval.
Maintain 100% inventory accuracy; report any deviations immediately.
Achieve contractual KPIs on efficiency and timelines.
Safety
Ensure compliance with QHSE and security procedures.
Perform daily safety checks and record/report violations.
Participate in root cause analysis (RCA) of incidents or violations.
Share daily housekeeping and safety checklists.
Documentation
Ensure timely submission of warehouse documentation.
Counter-sign TCN, SAP docs, tally sheets, and stock take records.
Maintain a catalog of warehouse items and proper archiving per SOP.
Reporting
Prepare and share daily, weekly, and monthly reports per contract.
Report on discretion, damage, and aging stock weekly.
Provide truck turnaround, capacity check, and on-demand stock reports.
Notify management immediately of irregularities.
Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Tertiary education in Supply Chain Management.
Training in MS Office and relevant industry courses is an advantage.
Working knowledge of SAP.
Strong organizational and supervisory skills.
Ability to enforce compliance, maintain accuracy, and meet deadlines.
Good communication and reporting abilities.
