Job Purpose:
The Vice President of Operations will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing our organization's day-to-day operations, ensuring growth, efficiency, productivity, and quality across all countries. The VP of Operations will play a key role in implementing strategic initiatives, ensuring consistency in brand standards, driving overall operational excellence and contributing to the overall success of the company

Duties & Responsibilities:

Managing Country Directors

  • Act as their primary point of contact offering support, guidance, and leadership to ensure they achieve set targets.

  • Develop and implement strategies to support the growth and achieve set volume targets the different countries.

  • Provide leadership and guidance to effectively manage the franchise network, ensuring adherence to brand standards, operational procedures, and quality control.

  • Enforce operational policies and procedures to maintain brand integrity and customer experience.

  • Implement and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track and improve business performance.

  • Enforce compliance to Franchise Agreements and related policies

  • Conduct data analysis to determine ROI for initiatives as well as trends to generate insights for improvement

  • AMF Support

  • Own the AMF partner relationship after handover from business development

  • Consolidate all tools used at JibuCo and tailor-make them for the AMF Partner to support efficient operations

  • Work with finance and AMF partner to develop optimal product mix and product pricing

  • Work closely with finance to manage AMF invoicing

  • Work with Supply Chain Lead and IT Head and Global Engineer to ensure adequate support for the AMFs and quality service


Operational Strategy and Oversight:

  • Collaborate with executive leadership to develop and execute operational strategies that align with the company's goals and objectives.

  • Provide vision and direction for operational excellence, identifying opportunities for process improvement and cost optimization.

  • Implement processes and systems to streamline operations and enhance the overall efficiency of the franchise model.


Training and Development:

  • Oversee the development and delivery of training and certification programs for franchisees and their staff.

  • Develop and execute a system to track and improve training efficacy


Financial Management:

  • Collaborate with finance and accounting teams to develop and manage budgets.

  • Analyze financial performance of each country and provide recommendations for optimizing profitability.

  • Lead the Country Directors to achieve EBITDA targets


Team Management:

  • Lead and mentor a high-performing operations team of Country Directors, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

  • Build and develop a strong, motivated team capable of meeting current and future business needs.

  • Training Effectiveness: Training completion rates and post-training

  • Technology Adoption: Speed of adoption of IT solutions in the JibuCo and franchise operations.

  • Country profitability / EBITDA

  • Financial Performance of Franchise Network:

  • Average operational costs per franchise location – declining trend.

  • Average revenue and profitability per franchise location – growing

  • trend.

  • Supervision Received: This position works highly autonomously and reports directly to the COO

  • Management Responsibility: Country Leads/ Directors and Area Master Franchisees

Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field; MBA preferred.

  • Proven experience in a senior leadership role overseeing operations within a comparable industry.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on continuous improvement.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and motivate cross-functional teams.

  • Demonstrated success in strategic planning, execution, and achieving operational goals.

  • Strategic thinker with the ability to translate strategy into actionable operational plans.

  • In-depth knowledge of marketing and sales, quality control, and process optimization.

  • Proven financial acumen and experience managing budgets.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and drive positive change.

  • Experience in franchise operations, with understanding of franchise best practices
