Job Description
Vacancy title: Trainee field Assistants
No of posts : Two (2)
Reporting to : Division In charge / Estate Manager
Location : Kalangala
The Trainee Field Assistants will support plantation field operations, crop management, and data collection activities while undergoing practical training in oil palm estate management.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
- Assist in monitoring plantation activities and field operations.
- Support data collection related to crop performance and field productivity.
- Participate in soil management, planting, and maintenance activities.
- Assist supervisors in implementing agronomic practices and estate procedures.
- Prepare field reports and maintain accurate records.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.
- Participate in training and capacity-building programs.
- Carry out any other field duties assigned by supervisors.
