• EDUCATION: An advanced degree (Masters or equivalent) in trade, international trade, commerce, business administration, business, economics, international development, or any other relevant field. A first level degree in the specified fields of studies with two additional years of qualifying work experience may be accepted in lieu of the advanced university degree.

• EXPERIENCE: A minimum of two years of experience in project/programme management, or related area is required. Experience in trade related technical assistance or related field. Experience in international trade. Experience working with private, public or development sectors. Experience working with trade support institutions desirable. Experience working on export promotion desirable.

Professionalism: Good knowledge of PC software (including word processor, spreadsheet and presentation software) such as Microsoft Office. Technical knowledge on trade. Familiarity with project management, technical assistance and result based management (RBM). Knowledge of barriers related to international tourism and/or trade. Political awareness and understanding of socio-economic factors.
