Job Description
Job Title: Track and Trace Officer
Organisation: AGL (Africa Global Logistics)
Duty Station: Kampala, Uganda
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Track and Trace Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring strict compliance with company regulations by drivers, identifying on-road exceptions, and taking immediate remedial action.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Key Duties:
Track vehicles using GPS systems and submit daily, weekly, and monthly reports on vehicle movements and problems
Monitor truck driver performance and report daily violations to QHSE AGL and transporters
Ensure strict compliance with company regulations by drivers and share daily violations reports with AGL and transporters
Keep a weekly and monthly tracking of all violations per truck and per transporter
Report daily transport and loading forecasts from Mombasa team and consolidate information into the tracking report
Share the daily tracking report with the client and alert them for all convoys approaching site
Identify on-road exceptions and take immediate remedial action
Key Performance Indicators:
Daily alert to the client for all convoys approaching site + update of ETA
Daily report on daily vehicle movement and problems to supervisor and transporters
A daily status report on movement of loaded trucks

Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Qualifications:
A minimum of 1-2 years’ experience in a similar role in a busy environment
Certificate in Logistics
A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in information systems or any other relevant discipline
Certificate in Microsoft Office packages
Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office packages
Good communication skills (verbal & written)
