Job Description
Synergy Clinics is seeking a Theatre Nurse to join their multidisciplinary team in Nairobi. The role involves working closely with surgeons and anaesthesiologists to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality care for patients undergoing surgical procedures.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
- Provide scrub, circulating, and recovery nursing support across a range of surgical specialties.
- Prepare the operating theatre, instruments, and equipment for procedures.
- Maintain strict aseptic technique and infection control standards.
- Monitor patients pre-, intra-, and post-operatively.
- Assist in emergency and elective surgeries.
- Collaborate with the team to optimise theatre efficiency and patient outcomes.
- Mentor junior staff and participate in training and quality improvement initiatives.
