Job Description
We are seeking a Temporary Community Mobilizer to join our team and play a crucial role in engaging and mobilizing our community members to participate in various initiatives and programs. The ideal candidate will be a passionate and dedicated individual with strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
Duties and Responsibilities
Collaborate with community leaders, organizations, and stakeholders to identify community needs and priorities.
Develop and implement strategies to engage and mobilize community members to participate in various initiatives and programs.
Conduct outreach activities, including workshops, presentations, and community events, to raise awareness and promote community involvement.
Facilitate community meetings and discussions to gather feedback, address concerns, and build consensus.
Maintain accurate records and documentation of community engagement activities.
Prepare reports and presentations summarizing community engagement activities and outcomes.
Qualifications and Competencies
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in community engagement, outreach, or a related field.
Proven ability to build rapport and relationships with diverse individuals and groups.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively present information and engage in meaningful conversations.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
Fluency in English and an additional language is a plus.
