Job Description
To receive customers over the counter and make payments against withdrawal request after verification.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
- Receive and count cash at the beginning and closure of shifts
- Provide savings account balance details to customers.
- Underta ke daily counting and balancing of the cash in the register as per provided schedules.
- Perform specialised tasks such as preparing statements, personal and money orders.
- Verify and receive loan and utility bill payments as well as mortgage payments.
- Record all transactions at the closing of each shift.
- Respond to customer queries relating to savings accounts as well as other bank-related products.
- Opening new accounts
- Read, understand, practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action
- Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.
