Job Description
The Research & Market Development Department invites applications for a Graduate Trainee Programme. This opportunity is designed to equip young professionals with practical experience in capital markets research and development. The successful candidate(s) will gain hands-on exposure in:
- Market development initiatives
- Report writing and policy analysis
- Data analytics and interpretation
- Risk assessment
- Stakeholder engagement and coordination
This programme offers dynamic learning opportunities and prepares participants for future professional roles within the Authority.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
The Graduate Trainee will:
Market Research & Analysis
- Conduct research on capital markets trends, products, and investor behavior.
- Collect, analyze, and interpret market data to support informed decision-making.
- Prepare analytical reports and presentations on research findings.
Report Writing & Documentation
- Draft clear and concise reports, policy briefs, and summaries for internal and external stakeholders.
- Maintain proper documentation of research methodologies and data sources.
Data Analytics & Risk Assessment
- Assist in analyzing financial and market data using statistical and analytical tools.
- Identify potential risks and market opportunities, and support the development of mitigation strategies.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Support coordination with investors, market participants, and regulatory bodies.
- Assist in organizing workshops, seminars, and training sessions to promote market development.
Professional Development & Learning
- Participate in on-the-job training and learning programs to develop technical and professional competencies.
- Apply learned skills to support departmental initiatives and projects.
Ad Hoc Tasks
- Perform any other duties assigned by the Supervisor or Head of Department to support the operations of the Research & Market Development Department.
