Job Description
Job Title: Technician - Instrumentation
Department/Programme: Sugar Factory
Section/Project: Cogeneration
Reports To: Supervisor - Instrumentation
Supervises: None
Overall Purpose of the Job
To install new instruments, calibrate field instruments and electronic equipment, lay cables, and carry out maintenance of instrumentation systems.

How to Apply
Install new field instruments and cables.
Maintain field transmitters and instruments such as control valves, regulators, pressure gauges, and temperature gauges.
Assist the Instrument Supervisor in the erection and commissioning of field instruments.
Handle shift operations related to instrumentation and control.
Train subordinate staff.
Maintain cleanliness of the working environment.
Adhere to the company’s safety, health, and environment policies.
Perform any other related duties as assigned by the Supervisor – Instrumentation or Management.
Education: Diploma in Electronics and Instrumentation, Electrical and Electronics, or Electronics and Telecommunication.
Experience, Skills, and Competences
At least two years of working experience as a fitter in a busy organization.
Knowledge of maintenance, repair, and adjustment of installations.
Skilled in fault finding, troubleshooting, servicing, and adjustment of control systems and instruments.
Familiarity with electrical power and safety regulations.
Good communication skills.
