Job Description
The Paramedic Team Leader will provide clinical and operational leadership to ambulance teams, reporting to the Head of Emergency Rescue & Training Services. The incumbent is responsible for ensuring the highest standards of emergency medical care, team coordination, and continuous professional development of personnel.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
- Supervise day-to-day ambulance operations, ensuring timely and professional emergency response.
- Provide mentorship and clinical oversight to paramedics and EMT crews.
- Provide guidelines on managing rescue calls and oversee event coverages.
- Ensure adherence to clinical protocols.
- Oversee infection prevention and control measures, ambulance cleanliness, and equipment readiness.
- Develop team schedules and manage duty rotas.
- Manage inventory and stock levels of drugs and consumables.
- Organize and lead CMEs, skills drills, and identify training needs.
- Maintain EMS assets and monitor performance indicators.
- Compile operational and clinical reports.
