Job Description
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
- Lead electrical maintenance and reliability programs across production, cold rooms, ice plants, hatcheries, and utilities
- Ensure continuous power availability, system stability, and troubleshoot complex electrical failures affecting production
- Lead electrical works for plant expansion, cold rooms, ice plants, and distribution upgrades including design reviews, BOQs, and contractor oversight
- Ensure commissioning and handover of all new electrical installations
- Ensure compliance with ERA licensing requirements and enforce LOTO, PTW systems, and electrical safety standards
- Lead incident investigations and drive closure of safety audit findings
- Support and improve preventive and predictive maintenance systems and lead Root Cause Analysis for major failures
- Optimize energy usage, manage load balancing and generator dependency, and lead the energy committee
- Supervise, develop, and conduct performance management for the electrical engineering team
- Manage electrical budgets, maintenance records, and critical spare parts availability
