MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
The Supplier Relationship Manager will be responsible for identifying, on-boarding and managing relationships with Corporate Off-takers who will buy raw materials on AMSAF.
Identify grain suppliers who would be candidates to join AMSAF
Assess, prepare, and present pre-qualified suppliers for aggregation loans
Build and maintain AMSAF supplier pipeline
Explain the value proposition of AMSAF to grain suppliers
Explain the trader aggregation loan terms and conditions
Explain AMSAF business rules to the grain supplier
On-board grain suppliers by explaining AMSAF policies, procedures, pricing
Manage the relationship between AMSAF and the suppliers
Prepare sales and contracting paperwork for suppliers
Develop strategies to increase sales
Prepare reports on sales objectives and results
Troubleshoot issues regarding quality
Follow up purchase order fulfillment
Various other tasks related to increasing the volume of trade transacted on AMSAF

Required Qualifications, Experience & Skills:
Diploma with 3+ years of experience in agriculture, trade and/or sales
Ability to speak English and effective communication skills
Ability to speak more than one language other than English is an added advantage (Swahili, Luo, Runyakitara, Luganda)
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Suite is an added advantage
Tech-savvy
