Overall Purpose of the Job
The Supervisor – Boiler Operations (Field) is responsible for operating boilers and co-generation auxiliaries during assigned shifts. This role includes working within the co-generation unit and carrying out any other tasks as directed by the Co-generation Manager through the Shift Superintendent.

How to Apply
Ensure all boilers and auxiliary equipment are operating efficiently, including boilers, steam lines, PRDS, fans, bagasse carriers, ash water clarifiers, pumps, air compressors, ESP, ash handling systems, and related machinery.
Assign tasks to subordinate staff and monitor their performance.
Manage staff and materials under your responsibility.
Maintain discipline and motivation among the team.
Operate the Boiler Distributed Control System (DCS).
Act as a stand-in for the Boiler DCS Supervisor in their absence.
Work closely under the guidance of the Shift Superintendent – Co-generation.
Oversee management of bagasse storage sheds.
Enforce and adhere to the company’s safety, health, and environment policies.
Perform any additional duties assigned or delegated by the Shift Superintendent or management.

Education:
Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
Experience, Skills & Competencies
At least three years of operational experience in a co-generation plant.
Experience with high-pressure boiler operations.
Ability to supervise oneself responsibly.
Proficient communication skills in English (speaking, reading, and writing).
Familiarity with MS Office is an added advantage.
Analytical and troubleshooting skills related to co-generation operation and maintenance are a plus.
Strong interpersonal skills with a willingness to work collaboratively in a team environment and follow instructions enthusiastically.
Ability to work cooperatively with others to achieve team goals.
