Position Overview:
Ranchers Finest (U) Ltd is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Stores Supervisor to lead inventory control and materials management at our Kampala facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for enforcing inventory governance protocols, optimizing stock planning and documentation, and ensuring traceability of all materials across the supply chain.

How to Apply
Implement and manage inventory control systems to track stock levels, movement, and reorder points.
Conduct regular physical stock counts and reconcile them with system records to ensure accuracy.
Collaborate with the procurement team to forecast material needs based on usage patterns, seasonal trends, and operational plans.
Maintain an organized and efficient store layout to enhance accessibility and minimize errors or damage.
Set up and maintain proper binning, labeling, and zoning of all materials.
Ensure accurate and timely documentation for all stock received, issued, returned, or transferred.
Generate regular inventory reports and highlight concerns or anomalies in stock health.
Authorize material issuance based on approved requisitions and ensure proper tracking.
Enforce controlled access to sensitive, high-value, or regulated inventory items.
Provide real-time updates to departments on stock status, shortages, and delivery timelines.
Participate in weekly planning meetings to align material control with procurement and production needs.
Monitor stock usage trends to identify inefficiencies, pilferage, or misuse.
Supervise and support the Stores Officer to ensure smooth daily operations.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Procurement, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience in inventory or stores management.
Strong analytical skills and high attention to detail.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced level).
Working knowledge of ERP systems is a strong advantage.
