Job Description
The role involves overseeing the final stage of material movement from the warehouse by managing packing procedures, documentation, and dispatch coordination. The Stores Executive will ensure goods are packed securely, necessary documents are prepared, and items are dispatched on time. The position requires attention to detail, strong coordination with logistics partners, and the ability to handle both administrative and physical aspects of dispatch operations.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Plan and execute packing of materials based on dispatch schedules and order types.
Ensure secure packing using correct materials to prevent damage during transit.
Generate and verify dispatch-related documents such as packing slips, invoices, and transport labels.
Coordinate with transport agencies, drivers, and internal teams to ensure smooth dispatch.
Maintain daily records of packed and dispatched items, including tracking information.
Inspect packed goods for accuracy, completeness, and quality before shipping.
Update dispatch registers, courier logbooks, and system entries.
Assist in loading and unloading goods during dispatch and receiving.
Monitor stock of packaging materials and place timely reorders.
Adhere to standard operating procedures (SOPs) for safe packaging and shipment.
Communicate with customer support or sales teams regarding dispatch status or delays.
Maintain cleanliness and organization in the packaging and dispatch area.

Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field.
1–4 years of experience in packing, dispatch, or warehouse logistics.
Familiarity with packaging materials, tools, and dispatch documentation.
Ability to operate barcode scanners, printers, and basic ERP/dispatch software.
Strong attention to detail and effective time management skills.
Physical stamina for lifting, moving, and packing items.
Team-oriented with excellent communication and coordination abilities.
