Job Description

The Assistant Front Office Manager is responsible for supervising daily front office functions and staff, ensuring smooth operations and guest satisfaction. The role requires close collaboration with managers and team members to uphold service standards, implement policies, and resolve guest issues. The position involves supporting management of the front desk team, monitoring departmental goals, ensuring exceptional customer service, and maintaining compliance with financial and operational procedures. The Assistant Front Office Manager also functions in place of the Front Office Manager when required and contributes to continuous service improvement through feedback, coaching, and collaboration.

  • 5 years of experience in guest services, front desk, or a related professional role in a luxury (preferably 5-star) hotel.

  • OR Degree/Diploma in Hotel & Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related field.

  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and motivate teams.

  • Excellent communication, conflict resolution, and problem-solving abilities.

  • Strong customer service orientation and passion for hospitality.

  • Ability to manage operations, set goals, and achieve service and financial targets.

  • Knowledge of hotel operations, credit procedures, and guest relations best practices.
