Job Description
The Store Manager will be responsible for maintaining stock levels, tracking inventory, managing supplier relations, and ensuring efficient storage and distribution of goods. The role requires strict adherence to stock control measures, minimizing wastage, and ensuring timely procurement of essential restaurant supplies.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Oversee the receiving, storage, and issuance of restaurant supplies.
Monitor and maintain accurate inventory records.
Conduct regular stock audits and implement control measures.
Manage supplier relationships and coordinate timely deliveries.
Ensure proper storage conditions to maintain product quality.
Optimize stock levels to prevent shortages and overstocking.
Implement and enforce cost-saving inventory management practices.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards.
Generate reports on stock movements, usage, and procurement needs.
Supervise store staff and ensure smooth daily operations.

Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role within a restaurant, hotel, or hospitality business.
Strong knowledge of inventory management, stock control, and procurement.
Excellent organizational and record-keeping skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Good communication and negotiation skills.
High level of attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
Proficiency in inventory management software is an added advantage.
