Position Overview
Aldelia Uganda is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Store Control Clerk to join our inventory management team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate stock records, tracking inventory movements, and ensuring efficient store operations. Your efforts will directly support smooth business operations and customer satisfaction by ensuring product availability and minimizing discrepancies.

How to Apply
Inventory Tracking:Monitor and record all stock movements—both incoming and outgoing—to ensure real-time inventory accuracy and availability.
Receiving & Verification:Accurately receive and inspect incoming goods, verifying quantity, condition, and documentation against purchase and delivery records.
Stock Counts & Adjustments:Conduct regular physical stock counts and reconcile differences with system records, updating inventory as needed.
Reporting:Generate detailed daily, weekly, and monthly reports on stock levels, movement trends, and discrepancies for internal use and audits.
Reconciliation:Perform daily reconciliation of physical stock with computerized inventory systems, flagging and resolving inconsistencies promptly.
Order Monitoring:Track open orders and coordinate inventory availability to support timely fulfillment and delivery.
Discrepancy Resolution:Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies or errors in coordination with relevant departments.
Compliance & Safety:Adhere to warehouse safety standards and company procedures to maintain a secure and efficient storage environment.
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum of 1 year’s experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, or stock management.
Technical & Core Competencies
Inventory Systems Knowledge: Familiarity with stock control systems and best practices in inventory tracking.
Technical Proficiency: Strong skills in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office tools; experience with inventory software is a plus.
Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy in stock reconciliation and record-keeping.
Organizational Skills: Excellent time management and task prioritization in a dynamic work environment.
Communication Skills: Clear verbal and written communication for coordination across teams and with suppliers.
Data Entry: Proficient in entering, managing, and verifying inventory data efficiently and accurately.
