Job Description
The Shop Supervisor will manage store opening and closing, implement merchandising strategies, ensure optimal inventory levels, and lead a high-performing wholesale team. This role requires strong sales skills, operational oversight, and a commitment to excellent customer service. The ideal candidate should be experienced in retail or wholesale management and possess the integrity to manage high-value stock and cash transactions.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Oversee day-to-day store operations including opening/closing procedures
Manage inventory levels including ordering, receiving, and stocking
Drive sales growth through effective sales strategies and promotional initiatives
Provide outstanding customer service and address customer complaints
Lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing shop team
Implement visual merchandising strategies to enhance product appeal
Maintain a clean, organized, and customer-friendly store environment
Perform any other duties assigned by your Supervisor

Qualifications, Education and Competencies
HND/Diploma in Sales, Marketing, Purchasing, Supply, or related field
Minimum of 5 years of relevant post-qualification experience in a similar role
Strong understanding of sales and marketing strategies
High energy, self-motivated, and able to lead teams to meet sales targets
Excellent analytical and prioritization skills
Experience in introducing and promoting new brands
Creative thinker with the ability to identify and apply best practices
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and inventory management software
Demonstrated honesty and integrity in handling stock and cash
