Job Description
Mukwano Industries is seeking a Shift Supervisor to allocate and monitor work assigned to subordinates, provide technical guidance, and ensure smooth production workflows while adhering to quality and safety standards.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
- Allocate and monitor work assigned to subordinates to ensure smooth workflow.
- Provide technical guidance and support to subordinates in the plant.
- Monitor inventory levels and prepare requisitions for raw materials and spare parts.
- Prepare and submit daily production reports accurately and timely.
- Oversee preventive maintenance to ensure timely execution and minimize downtime.
- Ensure efficient plant utilization while adhering to company quality standards and production planning.
- Monitor worker performance and enter production data into the Enterprise Resource Application database.
- Ensure proper housekeeping practices and implement health and safety guidelines.
- Identify training needs and provide necessary skill development opportunities for staff.
- Communicate business issues effectively to the line manager.
