Description (Public)
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
- Identify and meet customer needs by selling and cross-selling consumer lending products to meet targets.
- Provide direct sales support through quality lead generation and effective follow-up to convert leads into sales.
- Ensure the correctness of completed application forms in accordance with Bank policies.
- Comply with Operational risk requirements, including KYC and anti-money laundering regulations.
- Provide timely customer service and resolve queries or complaints within established service level agreements.
- Build relationships with internal units like Operations and Credit for quick turnaround on applications.
- Participate in assigned learning and development trainings for personal development.
- Agree on and meet annual performance objectives and specific sales targets with the line manager.
Qualifications, Education and Competencies
- A relevant Bachelor's Degree (First Class or Second Class degree).
- A credit in Mathematics and English at O level.
- At least 2 Principal Passes at A level.
- Previous experience in a front-line banking sales, marketing, or service environment.
- Proven ability to pro-actively generate sales and spend significant time in the field.
- Basic knowledge of the bank’s products, services, and local banking laws.
- Outstanding relationship, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
- Strong presentation and problem-solving skills.
