Job Description
The Shift In-Charge will play a crucial role in maintaining smooth and efficient operations within the production unit. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring adherence to operational protocols, safety measures, and the seamless execution of shift schedules. They will directly report to the Production Manager and be tasked with optimizing machinery performance, particularly focusing on extrusion, weaving, printing, sewing, and sticking machines.

Prepare and make available shift schedules before the start of every shift.
Distribute and allocate manpower as per instructions from the Production Manager.
Monitor and maintain production targets throughout the shift by signing off on hourly production reports for relevant departments.
Compile and submit all production reports to the Production Manager after each production cycle and at the end of every shift.
Verify the accuracy of plant reports before submission.
Enforce plant protocols, including discipline, safety, and operational procedures, throughout the shift.
Implement appropriate Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to address challenges and ensure long-term solutions.

Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or an equivalent qualification.
At least 2 years of experience working with extrusion, weaving, printing, sewing, and sticking machines.
Ability to learn and adapt quickly.
Experience managing large teams.
Strong communication skills and accountability.
Proactive in identifying areas for optimization.
