Shelter Depot Customer Engagement & Insights Agent job at ALIGHT (Formerly known as American Refugee Committee)

Responsible for the generation of customer insights to inform the Shelter Depot project Implement co-creation in line with human centred design principles and generate ideas/ solutions/ recommendations from the customers Production of presentations, communication documents, human interest stories utilizing customer insights to showcase the achievements and impact of the project Work closely with and provide generated insights to the Communications and MEL departments to contribute towards proposal development and external communications
Customer engagement
Oversee the project activities that engage customer participation and feedback collection in the Shelter Depot
S/he will be responsible for conducting sensitization and dialogue meetings with community members
S/he will support execution of components of the Shelter Depot project that directly engages customers i.e.,
Work for Credit, Training; and collect relevant data
Support the Every Shelter Innovation Lead with testing and exploring prototypes, innovations and pilots by engaging community members and supporting various stages of the process.
Customer insights generation
Responsible for the generation of customer insights to inform the Shelter Depot project
Implement co-creation in line with human centred design principles and generate ideas/ solutions/ recommendations from the customers
Production of presentations, communication documents, human interest stories utilizing customer insights to showcase the achievements and impact of the project
Work closely with and provide generated insights to the Communications and MEL departments to contribute towards proposal development and external communications
Monitoring, Evaluation, Learning and Reporting
To develop a MEL plan for the shelter depot project
To lead on the development, implementation and reporting of the Shelter Depot monitoring, assessment and evaluation activities
To support the development of reports for the Shelter Depot project
To lead on the sharing of learnings from the Shelter Depot project within Alight and the joint project team of Alight and Every Shelter, these are available for utilization
Coordination
Support the Shelter Depot Project Social Enterprise Lead in the communication with OPM, UNHCR, and other governing bodies in the settlement
Representation of the Shelter depot project in various forums/partnerships and be able to present / showcase Shelter Depot’s achievements in various forums
Support the effective communication between ALIGHT and Every Shelter, participating in regular project update meetings
Other
Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor or in his/her absence, his /her designate.

Bachelor’s degree preferably in research, MEL, development studies or related field
Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in a refugee settlement setting
Experience in working with not-for-profit organizations, social business enterprises.
Computer literate (Google suite App - Word, Excel, Power Point, or any office application
Good administrative and documentation skills.
Customer/Client Service Skills
Excellent report writing and analytical skills.
Excellent understanding of human-centred design and/or co-creation
