Job Description
As a Service Operations - Observability Engineer Intern, you will be immersed in a high-performing technical team that monitors, analyzes, and enhances service performance. You will learn and apply service operations frameworks like ITIL and COBIT while leveraging data science to identify bottlenecks and improve service delivery. This opportunity is ideal for graduates looking to kickstart their careers in engineering, DevOps, or IT operations within the fast-evolving fintech and telecom industries. Interns also participate in leadership coaching, CSR initiatives, and network-building activities through the MPA Accelerator Alumni Community.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Apply ITIL and COBIT frameworks to daily service operations
Use data science techniques to analyze service logs and performance metrics
Identify and report on operational inefficiencies and suggest improvements
Contribute to automation and process optimization efforts
Participate in knowledge-sharing and learning sessions
Support cross-functional teams in enhancing the mobile payments ecosystem
Engage in CSR activities as part of the internship experience
Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Eligibility Criteria:
Aged between 21–26 years
Completed undergraduate coursework and awaiting graduation or graduated within the past year
Not in permanent employment
Available for a full 6-month internship
Competencies:
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Familiarity with service operations concepts or frameworks (ITIL, COBIT preferred)
Knowledge of data analysis tools or programming (e.g., Python, R, SQL) is a plus
Team player with effective communication skills
Passion for technology and continuous learning
