Service Engineer – Several Positions Job at SimbaNET Uganda

Job Description
The Service Engineer will be responsible for the installation, configuration, maintenance, and support of enterprise network infrastructure and connectivity solutions. The role ensures optimal network performance, service reliability, and timely resolution of technical issues for business clients (B2B). The ideal candidate will have hands-on ISP or telecom engineering experience and strong knowledge of modern network technologies.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain enterprise network solutions
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical faults across fiber, wireless, and satellite networks
- Monitor network performance and ensure service uptime targets are achieved
- Support B2B clients with technical escalations and service requests
- Collaborate with internal technical and support teams to ensure seamless service delivery
- Maintain proper documentation of network configurations and incidents
- Ensure compliance with company technical and safety standards
