Job Description
Zetech University is a chartered university in Kenya located in Ruiru, known for its technology-driven learning environment. This is a Remote Job. Ref: ZU/10/Adv/105/2026.
Reporting to the IT Manager, the Senior UI/UX Designer will lead user experience design across multiple internal university systems.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
- Analyse complex administrative workflows to identify pain points and opportunities for automation
- Develop user personas, journey maps, and service blueprints specific to the higher education context
- Lead the end-to-end design process for multiple concurrent internal projects
- Create wireframes, high-fidelity mockups, interactive prototypes, and design specifications using Figma or Adobe XD
- Establish and maintain a cohesive Design System (UI Kit, component library)
- Design responsive interfaces for desktop, tablet, and mobile devices
- Plan and facilitate usability testing sessions to validate design decisions
- Ensure all designs meet accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1 AA)
