Job Description
We are seeking a Senior Tax Associate with strong experience in customs and international tax to support complex client engagements and business growth.
The Senior Tax Associate will play a key advisory role, supporting clients on customs, cross-border transactions, and international tax matters while ensuring strong tax compliance and risk management. The role involves hands-on advisory work, client engagement, and mentoring junior staff.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
- Provide advisory support on customs duties, import/export taxes, and trade compliance
- Advise clients on international tax matters, including cross-border transactions, permanent establishment risk, and withholding taxes
- Conduct tax health compliance checks and risk assessments
- Review and prepare tax computations and returns (Corporate tax, VAT, WHT, PAYE)
- Support customs and tax audits, reviews, and objections
- Liaise with tax and customs authorities on behalf of clients
- Prepare advisory reports and practical recommendations
- Guide and mentor junior tax associates
